Our History

Founded by Gerry Camamile, Lewis Wright and Richard Vigar, the first office opened in Bailgate with 16 employees.

The growing team of 20 relocated into a central office on Newland.

An opportunity to acquire Roger Burman and Co saw the firm open an office in Sleaford.

Wright Vigar opened a small office in Gainsborough when they acquired Wilshaw & Ellis.

As the Sleaford team out grew its premises, they moved to a new office.

Busy Year! Wright Vigar open offices in London and Retford as they continue to expand. The Gainsborough team moved to a desirable location at Marshall Yard.

An acquisition in Sleaford saw 4 new team members join the team, whilst the growing Retford team moved into their new offices.

Continued growth and service for clients in the Nottinghamshire area led to the decision to open an office in Newark.

The option to move to a central location saw the Sleaford team move to Northgate house in a newly refurbished building.

Wright Vigar acquires Mcgregors in Lincoln, welcoming 9 new members of staff.

Richard Vigar retired from the business.

Bringing 3 new team member Wright Vigar acquired RWB & RN Store to grow their portfolio in Gainsborough.

The Sleaford team continue to keep busy with the acquisition of fees from Barbara Harewood.

As Wright Vigar reached 100 team members, they look to continue to grow through a new technology service, WV Solutions.

Wright Vigar celebrated 40 years of service and joined the Lincoln Social Responsibility Charter as they commit to carrying out socially responsible activities that will benefit their team and the local community.

Wright Vigar open a new office in Mansfield to strengthen the company’s name in the North Nottinghamshire region and support the firm’s aspiration to be a growing and ambitious business.

The merger gives Wright Vigar a substantial office in Nottingham and an opportunity to build on its profile in Newark
