Lincoln Economic Debate – 14 September 2017

With vast amounts of money being invested in the city, Lincoln is driving forward a new era within a historic setting.

The Lincoln Economic Forum will discuss the latest developments in the city, and what they’ll mean for business owners in the region – and those looking to relocate to this fast growing city.

The expert panel including Thomas Blount, Director of Lincoln Science and Innovation Park and Dave Reid, Operations Manager, Willmott Dixon, will discuss the ramifications of the £150m redevelopment of St Marks, how the second phase of he Lincoln Science and Innovation Park will attract high value jobs to the area, how the University and local businesses can work together to ensure that students graduating stay to work and live in the city, and whether and how Lincoln can benefit from devolution.

The panel will also look at the investment being made into tourism, with a new transport interchange on the way and cash being spent on the Cathedral, Castle, new hotels and Lincoln’s myriad visitor attractions.
