Bio
Hollie’s interest in accountancy was sparked during the finance module of her GCSE business studies course. At just 17 years old, Hollie began her career in practice through an apprenticeship. Now, she is AAT qualified and plays an important role in our Business Services team with over a decade of experience.
Based in Lincoln, Hollie works with a diverse portfolio of clients, preparing financial statements and tax returns, as well as handling VAT returns, bookkeeping and providing guidance on cloud accounting software. She also helps manage and train junior members of the team, helping them build in confidence and develop the skills they need to progress in their careers.
Hollie is known for her supportive and approachable nature. She takes the time to understand each client’s business, industry, and goals, and tailors her advice to suit their individual needs. Hollie works closely with colleagues across different departments, including tax and audit, to ensure clients receive a seamless, high-quality service.
One of Hollie’s career highlights was helping a client implement cloud accounting software to maintain their records. Within months, they had a clearer picture of their financial position and were able to make more confident decisions. Hollie finds it rewarding to help clients navigate their financial challenges and improve their processes and enjoys the variety her role brings as each day is different. Gaining her FMAAT status also marked an important milestone in Hollie’s career, reflecting her long-term commitment and dedication to the profession.
If Hollie could give her teenage self some advice it would be: “You don’t have to have everything figured out right away – be patient and trust the journey.”
Interests
When she is not at work, Hollie is kept very busy by her two daughters. Together, they love to go on holidays, days out, and enjoy spending time with the wider family.
