A multi-faceted events management company is celebrating an amazingly successful three years – by working with a new client on its home patch.

Accept Management, which masterminds and manages top-flight events all over the UK,  has secured Britain’s Got Talent winner and chart-topping boy band Collabro, to perform at a Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance (LNAA) event.

Its fantastic to see the rising success of the Newark-based agency, which is managing the evening concert – which will round off LNAA’s family fun day at Southwell Racecourse on July 12.

Accept Management is headed by Harriet Robson and Tom Wright, who offer a wide range of services, from the planning and on-site management of events to theatrical casting and touring packages for artists.

They were delighted to win the chance to stage the LNAA event because, whilst a lot of their work sees them travelling throughout the UK and Europe, they relished the opportunity to do more work in the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire area.

The couple are also thrilled about the way their business is growing and that it is already out-performing their expectations. This was a factor in their decision to choose Wright Vigar as their accountancy firm.

“Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance invited us to come up with some ideas for the concert aspect of their family fun event.  We thought very carefully about the sort of act that would appeal to a family audience and Collabro seemed to be the perfect choice,” said Harriet.

“We had to pitch to win this work. This involved putting forward our ideas and explaining in detail how we would look after all aspects of the concert. We are very much enjoying working with the team at LNAA.

“As a business we have been going for three years, and we are really pleased to be doing so well, at what can be a tricky time for an expanding business – and businesses in general – no matter how experienced their owners may be,” said Harriet.

LNAA Deputy Chief Executive Sally Crawford said: “The family fun day at Southwell Racecourse will finish at about 5pm, but we wanted to round off the day with live entertainment.

“We needed to find an agency that could come-up with ideas and which had the ability to source a high-quality act. Accept Management was recommended to us and was among businesses invited to tender for this job.

“Harriet and Tom really seemed to understand our brief. We enjoy working with creative people. They were on the same page as us and came up with some good ideas,” said Sally.

“This event follows on from our 21st birthday celebrations in May, when we reflected on the fact we have carried out more than 16,000 missions since our air ambulance service took off in 1994,” said Sally.

James Sewell, Director at Wright Vigar said: “It is great to work with Accept Management and to see it doing so well as it handles increasingly bigger and more prestigious contracts.

“The three-year stage of an expanding business requires careful management. The issue of cashflow becomes more challenging, especially when you are dealing with more contracts which will all be at different stages in their life cycle.

“If you have clients who are paying deposits upfront, you have to handle this income, whilst making sure you are delivering a first-class event.”

James is delighted that Accept Management is working with LNAA, which is one of several worthwhile charities that Wright Vigar supports.
