Support for the Hospitality Sector

£1 billion in support for Omicron-affected firms across the UK.

Businesses in the hospitality and leisure industries in England will be eligible for one-off payments of up to £6,000 per site, plus local authorities will have access to more than £100 million in discretionary funds to help other businesses.

£30 million further funding will be made available through the Culture Recovery Fund, enabling more cultural organisations in England to apply for support during the winter

The government is also offering one-off subsidies of up to £6,000 per premises for businesses in the hospitality and leisure sectors.

Finally, around 200,000 businesses will be eligible for local government-administered business grants, which will be available in the coming weeks.
