Delegates from charities and businesses enjoyed a series of brief talks from local experts, interspersed with an excellent lunch and fantastic networking opportunities. Attendees at the event were also granted an unexpected chance to question Karl McCartney MP, who was happy to answer questions from the floor. The scheduled speakers were: Jez Ashberry from Shooting Star PR, Ben Braber from BBMC, Elizabeth Fish from The Lincolnnite, Rachael Hewitt who gave the audience an insight into Corporate Fundraising, Mike Stokes from The Business Club, Dean Graham from Lincolnshire YMCA, Shaun Cole from Ideafuel and a specialist from Admar and NB Marketing. The event was very well supported by charities and organisations working in Lincolnshire, and it is planned that the Lincolnshire Charity Expo will become an annual event.
